RB Jonathon Dwyer has averaged 110.7 rushing yards, leading the 3rd ranked rushing offense. Dwyer averaged 7.0 yards a carry during the regular season. The Yellow Jackets had 4 TD passes, but their play action can catch defenses off guard. Georgia Tech has a great defensive line that can get pressure on the QB, without needing the linebackers to blitz. The game is virtually a home game for the Yellow Jackets, playing at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.
LSU has not played like Coach Les Miles has wanted them too. Their halfback, Charles Scott, averaged 92.4 rushing yards a game, 4th in the SEC and scored 15 TD's. LSU QB Jordan Jefferson will will need to stay calm, make accurate throws, and avoid any turnovers that could give the Yellow Jackets momentum. LSU wideout Demetrius Byrd has posed a threat for the secondary, expect him to see a lot of attention from Tech's defense.
