This Wednesday, Chris Paul set the NBA record for consecutive games with a steal. The record was previously held by former San Antonio Spurs guard Alvin Robertson in November 1985 to December 1986. The Hornets took on Robertson's former team on Wednesday night. The steal came with 3:43 left in the 2nd quarter, where he stole it from Tony Parker.
"It's just something that he does. He has great anticipation and the biggest thing is he's always around that ball somewhere, a lot like Alvin when he played," said Hornets coach Byron Scott.
The streak began on April 13, 2007. Paul has set himself up as a supreme player in the NBA, and he is the elite point guard in the game today.
