Ohio State entered Saturday's game with a 14 game winning streak, the longest in the nation. During the game, the Buckeyes were overmatched by Alex Ruoff and the Mountaineers. Ruoff scored 17 points, leading his team to a 76-48 victory. West Virginia has won four straight. The Mountaineers won their 10th game of the season, in a game in which their largest lead was 32 points.Ohio State suffered its worst home loss since Feb. 7, 1998 when Purdue defeated them 107-75. The Buckeyes drop to 9-1 on the season, currently 3rd in the Big Ten. Ohio State now prepares for their conference games, going up against Iowa on Wednesday, undefeated Minnesota on Saturday, and #18 Michigan State on Tuesday.
