Who's going Christmas Bowling?

It is that time of the year college football fans. It is bowl season again. Today will be the first day of the bowl games. There will be four games played today on ESPN and ESPN 2. Here are the eight bowl teams playing today.



EAGLE BANK BOWL:
Navy vs Wake Forest
Game info- This will be the first bowl game of the season. Kickoff time is at 11am on ESPN. This will be the second meeting between these two teams. They meet on September 27 and Navy ended up winning 24-17. In order for these teams to win they need a big game from there quarterbacks. Navy quarterback Kaipo-Noa Kaheaku-Enhada came back last week from an injury and helped lead his team to a 34-0 win over army. Riley Skinner threw for 173 yards in his last game against Vanderbilt. The Demon Deacons won that game 23-10. These teams are both know for there offenses so the defensive will have to step up there game in order to win.

NEW MEXICO BOWL:
Colorado State vs Fresno State
Game info- This is the second bowl game airing on ESPN at 2:30pm. Colorado State is lead by running back Gartrell Johnson who had 1,191 rushing yards along with 10 touchdowns. The Fresno State defense is up to a back challenge. Fresno State is good at stopping the pass but struggles against the run.If they don't contain Gartrell then he will run all over them.On the other side Fresno State is led by quarterback Tom Brandstater. Tom hasn't done as good as he wanted to , but he still threw for 2,478 yards and 17 touchdown passes. Colorado State has struggle against the pass so look for Fresno State to be throwing the ball alot. If Tom plays like he is capable of playing then Fresno State will win.

Memphis vs South Florida
Game info- This will be the third bowl game of the season kicking off at 4:30pm on ESPN 2. Leading the way for South Florida is Matt Grothe. Grothe threw for 2,675 yards and has rushed for 508 yards. Grothe needs to play good if South Florida wants to win this game. The Memphis tigers are lead by running back Curtis Steele. Steele had 206 carries and had 1,175 rushing yards on the season. The Memphis Tigers are known for there running game averaging 205 yards a game. South Florida's four defense of lineman will have a tough task today. They need to stop the run and make Memphis throw the ball. Memphis needs to force turnovers on defense if they want to win.

PIONEER LAS VEGAS BOWL:
Arizona vs (16)Brigham Young
Game info- The fourth bowl game will be kicking off at 8pm on ESPN. BYU is lead by quarterback Max Hall and wide receiver Harvey Unga . Hall threw for 3,629 with 34 touchdown passes. Austin Collie had 1,419 yards receiving with 15 touchdowns. Today will be an offensive day. BYU is number 17 in total yards and Arizona is 34Th in total yards. There will be alot of touchdowns in this game. If one of these teams defense can force a turnover then that time will win the game.
